Detroit-native Jonny Jenks has worn many hats over the course of his career. In the U.S. Army he attained the rank of Sergeant serving his country both domestically and overseas as a Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Warfare Specialist.  Jonny went on to study theater, earning a B.F.A. from Wayne State University, and an M.F.A. in Directing from Purdue University. He is also a graduate of the Elsen Academy of Theatrical Make-up and Wig Mastery, where he learned skills he put to good use over several seasons with such companies as the Michigan Opera Theatre, the Atlanta Opera, and the San Juan Opera. After directing several plays and opera in the Midwest Jonny relocated to Los Angeles.  Along with producing a feature film and a children’s show, he has worked as a DGA director in television and for 21 years Jonny has worked as a picture editor on various shows and has received multiple Emmy Award nominations in both single camera and multi camera editing.  Founding his company, Global International Worldwide Entertainment in 2006, Jonny has provided post production services for projects at CBS, Disney, Discovery, Amazon Productions, WE, CMT, Animal Planet, and VH1 among others. In Non-Broadcast work Jonny has cut trailers for Godzilla for ToHo Studios and Fathom, numerous sizzle reels, content for Viking Cruise, Comic-Con, and fashion shows.  Jonny and his team are also responsible for the original content being created for the UCLA Medical School. Most recently Jonny Co-Produced an award winning short called “Quick Cuts.”
